What are AHA's?

AHA fruit acids are natural glycolic acids derived from sugar cane and citrus fruits. AHA's gently exfoliate the skin and effectively remove dead skin cells, making room for new, healthy cells. The acid cleanses pores in depth and reduces the appearance of discolouration and uneven skin tone.

What do AHA's help with?

AHA's are well suited for mature skin. The acids activate cell renewal and stimulate the skin's production of collagen and elastin so the skin's elasticity is improved and wrinkles appear reduced. AHA's also increase the skin's own production of moisture-binding properties and help to prevent dry skin.

Glycolic acid, which has the smallest molecular size, is the fruit acid with the greatest bioavailability and penetrates the skin easily. AHA fruit acids penetrate deep into the skin and lets the natural oils in our Argan Night Serum penetrate deeper and work more efficiently. AHA's will smooth out the skin's surface, help to even out skin tone appearance and add glow to the face.

We only use a few drops per bottle of AHA's because the fruit acids are strong, but also because a few drops are enough for the desired effect while still being gentle on the skin.
