In a recent Instagram poll, 40% of those responding said they are unsure what their skin type is and would like some advice, so we thought we would make a blog post.

Finding the right skincare routine for your personal skin type is vital, as you don't want to waste time and money on products that are not right for you.

This blog describes six of the most common skin types; read through the descriptions and you should be able to identify which skin type you are.

From reading these descriptions, can you now identify which skin type you are? We hope so!

Mature Skin

The skin has fine lines and needs plenty of nourishment and moisture. Challenges can be that the skin looks tired, dry or dull and has little elasticity and plumpness.

Combination Skin

The skin can be both dry/dehydrated and oily at the same time, perhaps with an oily T zone. Challenges can be blackheads, bumps and uneven texture and uneven skin tone.

Oily/Acne Prone Skin

The skin has excess oil and may look overly shiny and wet. Challenges can be large pores, breakouts, pimples and acne. Some people with oily skin may also have dry/dehydrated patches.

Sensitive Skin

The skin can easily become red, sore and irritated. Challenges can be allergies, dry skin, rosacea, psoriasis, atopic eczema or similar skin complaints.

Normal Skin

The skin has no major challenges, it is mostly ‘normal’ but needs daily moisture to be maintained.

We hope this guide helps! If you need further advice on which of our products are right for you, perhaps try using our Product Guide Quiz or send us a message and we will try to help!
